A valued member of the administration team. James joined our team in 2026.

James joined Innes Reid as part of our Administration team. He brings an enthusiastic energy to the team and a keen interest in bringing the client experience to life, helping people to achieve their goals. James is keen to learn and develop his knowledge of the personal finance industry and advance to a career in paraplanning in the future. His role is an integral part of the administration team, ensuring clients always receive a warm and welcoming experience at Innes Reid.

Home life

What is an ability you wish you had? Being fluent in every language so I could speak to people from all over the world and get to know them much better.

What’s currently on top of your bucket list?  I would love to experience the different cultures and see some of the beautiful sites of Asia and South America.

What’s the one talent people would be surprised to know about you? I’d like to think I’m pretty good at skiing, although I can only base that on not having a serious injury from going down slopes too fast.

Your karaoke song of choice? I really don’t feel like Karaoke is a strong suit of mine, but I’d say Cigarettes and Alcohol by Oasis is a good place to start.

Brown or red sauce? I’d have to say red, however if brown sauce was the only option available I’d be more than happy to have it.

Go to comfort food? The Indian takeaway down the road from my house makes a fantastic curry at a fair price so definitely that.

Best box set TV binge and why? I’ve watched Brooklyn 99 a few times that’s made me laugh a lot every time I watch it. However, I do love classic British shows like the Inbetweeners and Peep Show for their hilariously awkward and cringe moments!
