As lockdown continues to ease and more attractions are reopening, you may be planning some days out with friends and family.

1. Anderton Boat Lift.  Marvel at the miraculous feat of Victorian engineering they call the ‘Cathedral of the Canals’. A truly original day out and you might learn a thing or two!

2. Beeston Castle and Woodland Park. Set 350 feet above the Cheshire Plain on the sheer rocky crags Beeston Castle is a magical site with something for everyone.

3. Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker. For over 60 years this vast underground complex remained secret. During your trip you will be transported into the chilling world of the Cold War. And there’s a lovely café & picnic spot too!

4. Ness Botanic Gardens. Located on the Wirral, with fantastic views across the River Dee to North Wales. Stoll through the array of plant species and enjoy the scenery.

5. Chester Zoo. Calling all animal lovers for an incredible day surrounded by the wild. An absolute favourite with the Innes Reid team!

6. Tatton Park & Gardens. One of the UKs most complete historic estates. It is home to a Tudor Old Hall, Neo-Classical Mansion, 50 acres of landscaped gardens and the farm is pretty good too!

7. Port Sunlight Museum and Garden Village. Celebrating the unique heritage of the beautiful and historic industrial village of Port Sunlight, step back in time to the good old days!
