A key contributor and valued member of the paraplanning team since 2024

James began his financial career in Retail Banking and soon discovered financial planning. Now, being part of an independent adviser firm he is able to connect with clients and enjoys bringing their unique goals to life through his detailed reports.

James recently completed the CII’s Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. And aims to continue his development with an Advanced Diploma. He is driven to become a financial adviser in the future.

Home life

What is an ability you wish you had? Portion control. I’m an expert in making enough for dinner to take some for lunch the next day, and then somehow eating everything at dinner!

What’s currently on top of your bucket list? I’d love to eat at Noma, in Scandinavia. It would be an absolute dream to try their world-class dishes.

What’s the one talent people would be surprised to know about you? I’m pretty good in a go-kart or race-car.

Your karaoke song of choice? Your Song – Elton John. It’s really easy, and I’m really bad at singing.

Brown or red sauce? It’s a bit like asking “red or white wine?”… it depends on what you’re eating. But if I had to choose, brown sauce for bacon sandwiches and red for chips.

Go to comfort food? Pasta, with literally anything.

Best box set TV binge and why? The Witcher. You really have to watch it all in one go, otherwise you lose track of what’s going on!
